Hey Succas! Thanks for continuing to read our blog! If you chose to read this blog post, most likely you are looking to buy a succulent. Well continue reading...
One must do a little thinking before they buy a succulent. Do you want a big one or small one? Do you want one that looks super pretty or are you looking for practical? Do you want a cheap one or do you want one that will live a long time? Are you going to be buying a lot or jew a few? I am sorry that I have to be the one to deliver the news to you but someone has to... the chance of finding all of these in one succulent are slim to none. But here is the good news, you can find multiple of these in one!
Part of buying a succulent also depends on your shopping preferences. The great thing about succulents being so popular is that you can buy them many places. If you have a favorite store to shop at, most likely they have succulents of some sort. If you are a big online shopping person, you can buy succulents.
We will start with Etsy. Etsy has little cute succulents where you can buy a bundle of them for a little amount of money. These are super cute if you are buying them to plant a lot in one pot. Another good idea to do with these are to use them as party favors. The downsides to these are that they don't last as long as some of the others.
Amazon also has some cheap succulents that are super cute. However, ordering plants off the internet and having them delivered always makes their quality a little lower.
Next up: Walmart. Surprisingly, Walmart has decent quality succulents. They are middle class quality for middle class prices. Their selection isn't the biggest selection either.
Another, Meijer. Meijer has some healthy looking plants. They are pretty reasonably priced. Their life span is a little better than Walmart and Etsy but don't last as long as ones you really invest in.
If you really want a good quality succulent you are going to have to be willing to invest a little. Greenhouses will have the best quality succulents. Other stores that have good quality succulents are craft stores.
If making these decisions about your succulents is stressing you out, there is always the option to get fake ones. These are still cute, with no work, and last forever!!!
