About Me
Hi everybody! You probably know by now since you heard it in my video and read it up above, but my name is Madison Jenkins. I am a super smiley, way too bubbly, always giggling city girl who was born and raised just a little bit south of the city of Chicago. I do my best to be kind to everyone, I make jokes more often than I should, I try to never underestimate people, and I have a unique ability to memorize dates. I am a sophomore double major in marketing and human resource management at Ball State University in Muncie, IN, and because I am a crazy planner, I am currently in the process of figuring out exactly what my long-term career is going to look like and what I have to do now so I can get to where I want to be in the future. Similar to most people, I have a long list of favorites and random facts about myself, but I will only share a few of them with you so I don’t bore you off my post. I love makeup and glitter and crafting and shoes and clothes and just about anything else that fits into those categories. I prefer tea over coffee, I have twenty-one first-cousins, I order the same meal at every breakfast restaurant, my little brother is the light of my life, I have been a ballerina since I was three years old, I eat a bagel every day, my dog’s name is Daisy, I have an obsession with celebrating birthdays, my favorite movie is Tangled, I will always love Taylor Swift, I have had the same best friend for sixteen years, I love peanut butter, I love public speaking, and I am allergic to thirteen different things. Notice that even with listing all of those passions and favorites and interests of mine… there was nothing about succulents? That is because I had no idea that they even existed until I came to college last year. Little by little I have learned about them as they have exploded in popularity, but I am really going to be expanding my knowledge on these trendy plants as we go on this blog journey together. I plan to focus my blog posts on information about succulents that newcomers to the succulent world would like to know – this way we can learn together! However, over the course of this blog, I hope that even those who came in knowing more than me can learn something new from my posts on topics such as decorating with succulents, where to sell your succulents, succulent jewelry, and so much more. I want my posts to be cute and funny and informative, and I hope you all can get a glimpse of my personality through my writing and videos, all the while fulfilling your succulent knowledge needs. I cannot wait to see where this wild blog adventure is going to take us, but I am so excited that you all chose to join me for it! Happy blogging!

About Me
Hi guys! As I'm sure you can guess, my name is Cassady Skipton. I am a senior (the oldest blogger) at Ball State University, in Muncie, Indiana. I am double majoring in accounting and finance. I am originally from Shelbyville, Indiana which is about 35 minutes southeast of Indianapolis. Like most college kids, I enjoy spending time with my friends. Majority of my time is spent with my friends. I believe that I have some of the best people in the entire world as my friends. One thing I will miss the most about college is living 5 minutes max. away from majority of my best friends. I also manage the women's volleyball team at Ball State. It is one of my favorite things to do and has truly enhanced my time here at Ball State. This has brought me a lot of friends and opened a lot of doors over the years.
I also love my family. I have an older brother and an older sister. I have two nephews (8 years and 3 months old) and a niece (3 years old) who I love more than anything. Whenever I go home I spend as much time as possible with them.
Something that not many people know about me is I LOVE reality TV. With the exception of Grey's Anatomy, the only TV shows that I watch that are still airing are reality. It is a "guilty pleasure" of mine (but I don't actually feel guilty). I like a variety of reality shows. I watch the bachelor franchise shows (like every girl), Counting on (Duggars), Big Brother, and much more. I find people's lives intriguing! Think about how many different people there are in this world, and each and every one of them lives their life differently. I feel like knowing about differences makes me appreciate them more, it makes me appreciate people more.
This is my first blog ever! I will be the first to admit that I am not artsy or creative. This blog is way out of my comfort zone so bare with me. I do however, LOVE succulents. I think they are just the cutest little things. I do not have a green thumb. Since succulents require minimal care, they are my favorite and the only type of plants I own. My fellow bloggers and I chose a succulent blog because we all think they are cute and are very popular these days. I am definitely not an expert about succulents so while blogging I will be learning alongside you. We are going to try to make our blog cute and interesting to read and follow.
I hope you get inspired by our blog. I hope in one way or another this blog brings you some type of happiness. I hope you learn that you too can care for succulents. I hope you learn the benefits of having succulents and how versatile they are. We are open to suggestions about our blog so let us know if there is anything you want us to post about!

About Me
Hi, and welcome to our blog site. My name is Arley Will. I am one of the authors on this page and a student at Ball State University in Muncie, IN double majoring in accounting and finance. I was born and raised in southwest Indiana near the city of Evansville. By most definitions I am right on the edge of the mid-west, and while I do say "ope" quite often, I do not call soda "pop", and I do not call vacuums "sweepers". Most people would describe me as being timid, but only before they get to know me. I am not one to answer, or even ask, questions in class because it makes me too nervous, but I am one to make comments to the person next to me at any given time. I personally think I'm funny, and sometimes people laugh at the things I say, so I guess it's true. People often tell me they hate me because I do not like dogs, (I'm sure some of you probably scoffed reading that) but don't let that damage your opinion of me because I have recently become friends with my roommate's Chihuahua, Daisy. (She defends me and sometimes I give her my human food.) Growing up, I was always a busy body, so I played about every sport I could. That being said my hobbies include playing games, whether it be volleyball, basketball, tennis, cards, or Nintendo. On Wednesday nights back home, I enjoy attending trivia with a group of friends even though I hardly ever know any answers. So, if anyone knows of somewhere to go for trivia in Muncie, please let me know. I also enjoy attempting DIY projects and I love to look up ways to decorate. This brings us to my interest in succulents. My favorite decor is a modern look that includes a lot of whites with dark contrasts and plants. I have always wanted to decorate my room with plants and find succulents to be adorable. However, I never knew much about them, or how to care for them, or how much light they needed, or that they can grow bigger, or that some succulents are actually outdoor plants. You get the picture; I had a lot of questions. And this is where you all come in. I plan to center this blog around questions I had and things I wish I had known before buying succulents in hopes that it will help answer some questions you might have on the subject. You can follow me as I find things out first hand and hopefully you can learn from my mistakes or maybe my successes if I have any. Over the next few months I will post lists, "how to" posts, and other helpful information for anyone who is considering buying succulents, has questions about succulents, or is struggling with succulents. I may not be an expert on the subject, but hopefully I can be of some help for newcomers to the popular plants.

About Me
Hello to all of my fans who are reading this section here on this website. As most of you may know already, my name is Courtney Berger, and I am a sophomore at Ball State University with a major in marketing. But, did you know that 19 years ago I was born in China and then adopted with 12 other Asian babies? Now, how many of you guys can say that? The year 2001 was when I blessed by the most amazing people ever! They are the main reason for who I am today, my mom and dad are the ones who have played the biggest part in building my character throughout the years. But, so did the times when I dreaded going to that awful place called high school, when I earned my first scholarship, when I hit a rock and wiped out on my skateboard in front of 30 or more people, and so on and so on. I guess what I’m trying to say is that every day throughout the years has shaped me into, well, Courtney Berger. But enough with the sappy stuff, let’s talk about some more upbeat topics! I am the Founder/President of Ball State University’s Ping Pong Club, I’m from Tell City, Indiana, I prefer pancakes over waffles, I scrape the icing off of cakes, I can’t sleep in socks, and I have a dog named Cheddar. Yeah that’s right, like cheddar cheese. I named her and I have no regrets. So, that’s a bit of a background check on me. Let’s talk about why you’re here. You are sitting here reading this ‘About Me’ section on my blog page about succulents. Am I an expert on succulents? Have I ever owned a succulent? Do I want to ever feel the need to own one? Well, the answer to all of these are a big fat no. However, I believe that blogging about random succulent topics throughout the next few weeks, may change my mind! Who knows, maybe I’ll become a famous succulent expert. Maybe I’ll own a hundred succulents. We’ll let time do its thing. Also, I’m giving you a fair warning… I am a person who absolutely loves puns. I always try my very best to make them not SUCC (see what I did there?). Anyways, one might ask, “how did you end up writing a blog about succulents?” And to be completely honest with you guys, I have no clue. They don’t really grab my attention like a goldendoodle puppy does and they don’t (or shouldn’t) taste like Texas Roadhouse’s rolls. Again, why succulents? Well, I’m going to do this new thing where I’m exploring more parts of the world and not taking succulents for granted. So, throughout this blogging process you will not only learn about things you probably don’t even want to know about succulents, but you will also see webinars and video blogs! Isn’t that so exciting? I can’t wait for you to join this crazy journey with me, it’ll be PLANTastic!
