Succulent Gift Ideas

The weather is getting colder and the end of the year is approaching. So, you know what that means... Christmas is right around the corner! And when it comes to Christmas, something you need to start planning out and thinking of is gifts. Personally, thinking of gift ideas is not easy for me, but when it comes to giving gifts, I want them to be something the recipient will actually enjoy receiving. Personalizing gifts for a specific person and what they like is a much better way to go about gift giving than just going with some generic gift. So, if you are struggling with the questions of: What are you going to get your friends and family? How much money are you going to spend on your friends and family? What is something you think they would actually want to receive? then I have a post for you. Today, I am here to help answer some of those questions by providing you with some succulent related gift ideas for different types of people in your life.

For the Succulent Enthusiast

If you have a friend or sister or other person in your life that you know loves succulents. Then a succulent related gift is a very good idea. These gift ideas would be best for someone you know already has several succulents and would enjoy some accessories for their plants. I think the best way to go about this would to focus on gifts that they could use to help display their current collection of plants. The first thing you could get your succulent loving friend is a set of wall planters. Wall planters are a super cute and different way for your friend to display their lovely plants. You can find several varieties if you search on Amazon, and the price will vary, but you can get a set of cute wall planters for around $15. Rope plant hangers would also be an easy idea. Rope planters can be homemade, or also purchased. Unless you are a pro at making these things, I would go with buying a plant hanger. These can also be found on Amazon of course and would put you back less than $10. Another good gift would be some type of cute succulent shelving. This could include some hanging shelves or hexagonal shelves. Shelving would likely be a little more expensive depending on the kind you get. Finally, you could get your succulent loving friend some pots for their many succulents. Pots can be found just about anywhere and in any style, so this would be a fun gift to personalize to the recipients style.

For the Average Person

Most of the people you will be getting gifts for will not be avid succulent owners. For these "normal" people, you can still get succulent related gifts, just maybe not focus on gifts that you already need succulents for. For example, you could go with some cute succulent stickers, clothing, (view my cactus fashion blog here for some ideas), or wall art. All of these things would be relatively cheap but also super trendy for this year. For these people you could also just go with getting them a succulent in a cute pot. I don't think most people would be disappointed by this. Finally, a succulent patterned planner/notebook or makeup bag or basically any gift that would need a cute pattern to be a good gift would work for these people.

For the Succulent Hater

Don't get them a succulent gift. Why would you even be looking at succulent related gift ideas if you know your friend or family member hates them?
