My favorite Succulents

Welcome back to the blog! Thanks for reading! Today's post is about my favorite succulents. This is just my opinion blog so if less informational. You may have very different opinions and that is okay. This is just to let you know a little bit more about me.

Although I think many succulents are super cute, when choosing ones to buy I am actually very particular. There are some general things about all succulents that I am particular about. Disclaimer: I know I am weird for some of these and I don't care. First off, I only like succulents that are circular in shape. Not just circular though, they need to be pretty even. I am not sure exactly why this is. I'm not really OCD but I do think they are more satisfying. I also like the leaves to be even in length compared to the other leaves they are in line with. That is a big thing, one leaf can not stick out more than the others or I cannot buy it. Sometimes I feel bad when buying them because I am so picky and I want the other succulents to get love but I just have to buy certain ones.

As far as actual types of succulents, the Echeveria family is probably my favorite. When you see or picture a succulent this is the one I personally think of. This is one with thick leaves that has different layers that look like different circles. That is part of the reason I like it. Also, there are multiple different kinds. There are ones with short, thick, flat leaves and others with thick, longer leaves. They also come in different shades of greens. I love them all. Currently I have an Echerveria Hookereril. This is a succulent with thick, long leaves the kind of curl up at the top to make a bowl shape. Mine that I have right now is a smedium size. This is a mix between small and medium. It is a good center piece for our living room table.

My next favorite type of succulents is the cactus family. Many of you are probably familiar with a cactus. I think I like these because they are becoming very popular and they also come in a good variety. They are most commonly circular which goes with my weird specifications. They also come in a good variety of size. The one I currently have is tiny. I think it is so cute. This is weird but I always think miniature things are adorable and it is miniature. It also looks like it has fuzz which I think is cute but ironic because they are actually prickly and hurt to touch.

My third favorite type of succulents is aloe. Aloe is a weird one though. A lot of aloe I don't actually think is that cute. They have long leaves that have like pricks on the outside. When they are thick and have a lot of leaves they are kind of cute. Why I like aloe so much is because when you break the leaves there is a gel like substance that helps with burns. I think this is really cool because they don't take much maintenance and can be super beneficial to someone. Especially since they grow and thrive in extreme heat and sun and that is where people get burnt the most. I also like them because they come in unique colors. I have one that is green with white stripes which is cool.

These succulents are all unique and cute in their own way. They are not the only ones I like but they are the families that I like the most kinds of. Other people probably think other ones are better.
